Baroque roots in Classical Music: Aubree Oliverson and Federico Gad Crema

April 9, 2024 6:30 PM

Praised for her evocative lyricism and joyful, genuine approach, young American violinist Aubree Oliverson is distinguishing herself with clear, honest, and colourful performances, which have been described as “powerful… brimming with confidence and joy” (Miami New Times) and “masterful” (San Diego Story).

For this recital she is joined by Italian pianist Federico Gad Crema, whose unique ability to capture audiences all over the world, from France to Japaη and from Greece to the USA, has led him to aη impressive international career both as a soloist and as a recitalist, attaining remarkable achievements such as his solo debut at Teatro alla Scala in 2018.

The two will show, through a balanced programme alternating solo and duo pieces,
how certain trails of baroque music can be found in romantic music and well into the twentieth century.
